Intermediate Gusseted Stand Up Finishing Class – Sunday, 8/23, 10a-2p

If you’ve mastered round or square ornaments, expand your self finishing skills with this class with LeighAnne Tucci for finishing gusseted stand up.

Intermediate Finishing: Gusseted Stand Up

What You Will Learn:

• How to properly cut the canvas based on the shape of your stitching.
• Matboard fit for smooth edges.

Materials: 

Students will bring to class

• one stitched, blocked canvas, between 3” to 6"; and a photocopy of that canvas
• backing material (at minimum a fat quarter for the ornaments)
• full skeins of thread for cording (2 skeins for solid color cording, and one skein each if doing multiple colors. At most we can do four colors). 

• Optional: if you habitually use reading or magnifying glasses and/or a book lamp to stitch, please bring them with you to the class.

Students will be provided with all other material.

• Within 7 days of your class: We're unable to offer refunds, as our costs for the weekend are already committed. You're always welcome to transfer your spot to a friend — just let us know who's taking your place.
